Bathrooms in the Coachella Valley work harder than most. Hard water leaves scale on glass and fixtures, summer heat stresses finishes and caulk, and many homes in Palm Springs date from the mid-century building boom, with original plumbing and little or no exhaust ventilation.
We plan for that from the start. That means fixtures and glass that are easy to keep clean, waterproofing behind every tiled wet area, an exhaust fan that actually moves air outside, and an honest look at the supply and drain lines before the walls close up. If we find something during demolition, we show you, explain the options, and put any change in writing before we continue.
How a bathroom remodel works with us
Every job follows the same steps, laid out on Our Process page:
- Site visit and scope. We look at the room, talk through how you use it, and write down exactly what’s included and what isn’t.
- Permit first. If the work moves plumbing, changes the layout, or adds electrical, we apply for the permit and wait for it before demolition.
- Build. Our licensed subcontractors handle plumbing, electrical, and tile, and we manage the schedule and inspections.
- Close out. Final inspection, a walkthrough with you, and a punch list we finish.

How we price a bathroom remodel
Every bathroom is different. Your number depends on size, layout changes, plumbing moves, and the finishes you choose.
We give you a written scope and a real number before work starts. We don’t lowball the bid to get in the door, and we’d rather tell you up front what the job really takes than surprise you halfway through.
Permits, every time
Moving plumbing, changing the layout, or touching electrical usually means a permit. We handle permitting as its own first step with the city or county building department, and no work starts until the permit is issued. That protects you at resale and makes sure the work behind the tile is done right.

How long does a bathroom remodel take?
It depends on scope and permit timing. We give you a written schedule with the scope, once the design and permit path are clear.
Do I need a permit for a bathroom remodel?
Most remodels that move plumbing, change layout, or add electrical do. If yours needs one, we get it before any work begins.
Can you work on older Palm Springs homes?
Yes. Many homes here were built before 1978. We plan for what’s typically behind the walls and tell you about it before it becomes a change order.
Can you convert a tub to a walk-in or curbless shower?
Usually, yes. A curbless shower often means recessing or re-sloping the floor and adding a linear drain, so we check the floor structure and drain location first and spell out the work in the scope.
Can I use my bathroom during the remodel?
Not while the room is being rebuilt. If it’s your only full bath, tell us early and we’ll talk through the schedule so you can plan around it.
